Re: racist. I guess I should have been clearer. I have no problem with the word racist when used properly. However, these days the word is thrown about far too liberally and anybody who disagrees with left-wing ideology is automatically given a label.

No, that was a joke. Maybe a bad one, since they’re you’re pet peeves. I appreciate people that use a variety of vocabulary in their language. As long as words are used properly in context, without overuse, I’m open to almost anything.

I understand how most of the words can be annoying, but I’m not sure how the word “racist” is annoying. Is it because of misuse? I don’t get that one.

Me???? I was kept under Dad’s thumb and ordered to either stay home on a Friday night (and watch Rex Hunt kiss another freaking fish and be a complete wanker for all to see!) or go to a church group called ‘Youth Alive’ where the boys there were in for more sex than a horny monk! I swear if the pastor said not to grab a girl’s boob, they tried to do it in the back of the church during the sermons… and my folks thought that sending me to church was safe.

Because I didn’t party, didn’t socialise with my school friends on the weekends like my brother did, I rebelled and went completely off the rails. And my parents wondered why I took off in my first car for over 12 hours and didn’t make contact until I felt like it… hmmmm….
And now, they keep asking my brother why I’m less outgoing than him and he explains it’s because they didn’t let me do what I wanted. If they had, I’d be a Goth with a great personality by now. And a party-goer. However, I’m not. And if I do outgoing and left-of-field things, they don’t like it in any way shape or form… thinking it’s not right. But if my brother does it, it’s fine and it’s what he’s into.

So, it wasn’t until the next day, when I saw picture of him online, that I realised I had dreamt about him the night before. He was the one who sent me on the scavenger hunt for Michael Hutchence. I just didn’t know it was him because of his age and he dressed in all black… I thought he was a spirit guide (as I’ve seen them in all shapes and sizes before; and somebody dressed in black wasn’t anything different).
